Jeep Trail Guard (JLU 2018+)
Please note, RED areas are for demonstration purposes only, actual PPF film is clear!
Finally! We've been working on this on and off for years, literally. We started with a
clear DRY install vinyl in cast, then calendared, then decided to do it right and use a
proper protection vinyl. So we searched for an economical option to PPF and found
OraGuard 270. While this isn't technically PPF, it is a very durable stonegaurd vinyl.
We've used our own designed templates sized just under the actual panels so you
have some wiggle room on installation. It is a lot of pieces and does install WET.
We have also provided a numbered template and a YouTube video of the installation.
While our purpose was for short term protection, this is actually good for up to 5 years.
However, clean removal (with no adhesive residue) is recommended at 2-3 years.
A few things to note: we used our Gladiator as the template and then the rear portion
of our 392 Wrangler. What we found was the hood is different, as is the cowl area.
We also are offering the fenders as well as an option. This will be only for the Rubicon,
and they must be painted. You'll notice a blank spot at the front of the rear fender, as this
is where the OEM protection is, leave it. We also have a fender piece with the vent cut out if
you have an aftermarket decal applied (like we do). Please make note when you order in
the "notes" section.
While these kits are designed for the DIY'er, we always recommend a professional
wrap/ppf installer if you're hesitant. However, we have provided you a demo install video on our YouTube channel
